The Teachers Advocate & Coach

Hi, I’m Sharon, the Teachers Coach. I started Respect the Teachers (RTT), because I am passionate about helping teachers in many areas of their careers. RTT is about empowering teachers to live their best life in and out of the classroom. I have been a teacher for more than 20 years and I have a history of building good connections with students, teachers, parents, and administrators. With previous experience as a middle and high school teacher, I continue to inspire, encourage, lead, and transform the lives of those I come into contact with. I am a leader with behavior management experience, as well as, experience as a teacher-trainer. I was a Professional Development Master Teacher (PDMT ) for the Charlotte-Mecklenburg School District in Charlotte, NC from 2009-2012. Teachers visited my classroom for behavior/classroom management/consultation and received valuable feedback and strategies. I was selected to present at state teacher conferences in SC and NC. I know teachers are one of the most important people in just about everyone's life and I believe teachers are heroes who deserve double respect and double honor. Through RTT, teachers will gain access to resources that will help them to become even more heroic. Welcome to Respect the Teachers. You are in a supportive place. Sharon, the Teachers Advocate & Coach
